Cookie Policy

Last updated October 4, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Lucive LLC ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at camp.lucive.co ("Website") and use the Camp app. It explains what these technologies are, which ones are in use, and your rights to control them.

The short answer: we set no cookies of our own. The only cookies on this Website come from hCaptcha, which protects our forms from spam.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Website owners use them to make their websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information.

Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Lucive LLC) are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by anyone else are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website. The parties that set them can recognize your device both when it visits the website in question and when it visits certain other websites.

Why do we use cookies?

We do not set any first-party cookies. There is no sign-in on this Website, no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, and nothing that follows you to other websites. Our fonts and images are served from this Website, not from third parties.

The pages with a form (the waitlist sign-up on the home page, contact, report, and privacy request) load hCaptcha, a third-party service that keeps automated spam out of those forms. hCaptcha may set its own cookies for that purpose, as described below.

The cookies served through our Website

Essential website cookies. These are strictly necessary for features you ask to use, and they cannot be switched off through our Website.

  • Provider: hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.)
  • Where: Pages with a form: the home page waitlist, contact, report, and privacy request
  • Purpose: To tell people from bots and keep automated spam out of our forms. hCaptcha may set cookies and collect information about your browser and device to do this, and uses that information for spam prevention.
  • More information: hCaptcha privacy policy

Analytics and customization cookies. None.

Advertising cookies. None.

Performance and functionality cookies. None.

Other technologies we use

Rate limiting. Form submissions are counted by IP address to stop abuse. This happens on our server, not in your browser, and the counters expire on their own within minutes.

Web beacons and tracking pixels. We do not use them, on the Website or in any email we send.

Local storage. The Website does not store anything in your browser's local storage.

The Camp app

The app uses no cookies and no advertising identifier, and it contains no advertising or tracking software. Settings and an offline copy of your progress are saved on your phone so the app works without a connection. What the app collects is described in our Privacy Policy.

How can I control cookies?

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. Because nothing on this Website is used for analytics or advertising, there is no consent banner or cookie consent manager to manage.

You can set or change your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies, and delete cookies already set. The way to do this varies from browser to browser, so check your browser's help menu. Help pages are available for the most popular browsers, including Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Opera.

If you block hCaptcha's cookies, the forms on this Website may not let you submit until you allow them. The rest of the Website works without them.

Do you serve targeted advertising?

No. We do not serve advertising on this Website or in the Camp app, and we do not allow third parties to place advertising cookies through either.

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the technologies we use, or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The date at the top indicates when it was last updated.

If we ever add analytics or anything else that needs your consent, this page will change before it ships, and it will come with a real choice rather than a quiet switch-on.
